  2. Ooohh..very pretty. Love the background texture and color of the gray shingles! I have 3 very large "Natchez" Crepe Myrtles in my front yard that tower over my home. They have white flowers and the neat thing about this variety is the gray bark peels and flakes off and reveals a smooth cinnamon colored skin underneath. I love my Crepe Myrtles!

  4. @carol Most I have. I have a twilight instead of Catawba. But still a purple waiting on it to burst into bloom.
    @Lisa I agree about the bark. When I had a nursery that was the selling point because they are deciduous.

  5. I'm a little late is posting, but have to say, Crepe Myrtles are among my favorite trees, and we don't have them in MA. So, I can enjoy yours. Thanks.

  6. LOL Barbara that cracked me up. Aren't they beautiful. As my 4 hour drive today was lined with CrapeMyrtles. I am fascinated with their colors.
