Figs the Promise of Jelly... Day 145

I didn't realize I had caught the rain drops... I was trying to show you every branch is covered with figs.     
Yummy fresh or made into preserves. 


  1. Wow, love the ripe figs. I love raw ones in the dishes.

  2. Don't you just love those little surprises when you look at the photos and realize you unknowingly captured something so neat . . .

    I grew up enjoying the homemade goodies canned by my Mom and my Grannie . . . they always enjoyed the fig preserves, but I preferred the fresh plum and dewberry jams and jellies . . . yummm . . .

    @Benotforgot... We usually make dewberries too, but too dry for them on the farm this year. I found a new recipe that I love that is spiced for the figs. The grandmothers loved the Strawberry jello recipe. Easy.
