Summer Color Pentas and Angeloina... Day 157
I have run out of new CrapeMyrtles to capture. I have a Twilight and a Burgandy cotton that should start blooming... Hoping before my granddaughter is born. The short of it is I have pictures I took in Houston at the Houston Latter Day Saint Temple. Their gardens are to die for.
Red Pentas tucked in White and Purple Angeloina (these are called the summer snapdragon) The tiger day lily in the back ground was the only one. |

Southern Summer Color Series ...Day 150
It has begun, the crapemyrtles have begun to bloom their hearts out. They offer the South a wonderful kaleidoscope of color. Sometimes it is even on the same tree. For the next few days I will be posting the different colors along our city street. You can choose what your favorite would be. I raised these and knew all their different names, but now I have a hard time identifying the pinks and reds, so many of them.
This is probably a Tuskegee (knowing what they sell here). |
