Flower Bed Cleaned and Ready to Rejuvenate, Day 30
Yesterday, I began my task of preparing our church's flowerbed for replanting. My son helped by planting the Shi-Shi Gashira Camellias to replace the Fashion Azaleas that didn't make it. Later in the spring I will share how we have done.

Repenting It Did Snow a Bit in Montgomery Day 21
As I looked out my window it didn't look like any snow, just a little ice on the Holly.
Then I went out the side door and, oh my, there was some snow, not much, but it was snow. It was not the pretty fluffy snow of the North, but crunchy icy balls. It was interesting "crunching" out to feed the dogs.

A Sad Day for the Window Box Day 18
I took a shot of my Dianthus this afternoon. I am glad I did, because when I went out to make sure all were covered, the wind chill had already burnt the leaves and flowers. They had survived several days of 20 degree weather previously, but the wind chill, I found when I came in, was in the single digits tonight. Brrrrr. So cold.
