As I sat resting from my walk I was struck by the beauty of the tree's shadow.

I love eating Jicama.  This is my first year to grow it. Already made a mistake, you are supposed to cut the flowers off.

See the seed pods, toxic.  I am going to save one or two for planting next year.  Only edible part is the tuber.

Natural Contrasts

The forest is full of contrasts. Dying pines, renewed elms, white bark of sycamores, with a background of clouds. Quite pretty.

Perfect Flag Weather

Texas is the only State that the State flag can be flown at the same level as the US Flag.
