Happy Birthday Oldest Grandson!...Day 71

My daughter says I stink at action shots, but I am trying. This is my oldest grandson.  He just turned 16. How many sixteen year old boys do you know that would celebrate with his little brother and cousin (the redhead is his brother).  They had fun playing bowling on Kinect a Xbox game.

New Geranium...Day 56

Of course, the grandson needed his picture with the geranium. I love this geranium because of it's leaves and that I can put it next to the swing in partial shade.  It needs afternoon shade in lower Texas.

Carolina Jasmine...Day 50

I was driving through town this afternoon and this vine caught my attention.  Carolina Jasmine is supposed to be a mid spring to early summer bloomer.  Well it's blooming now...Wow.  I think I would plant a morning glory or cardinal flower to take over the bloom when this is through.
