Anthony Waterer Spirea ...Day 96

I have always enjoyed Bridal Wreath Spirea, but it is so fleeting.  Anthony Waterer Spirea keeps on giving a mass of pink blooms most of the late spring to early summer months.
Sorry, I had my camera set on movement, but the wind was still too much.

Pink Evening Primrose ...Day 95

Not nearly as showy as some I have seen, but it brightens the shade in the backyard, and brings back memories of the kids calling them buttercups and smashing them on the noses of their siblings, then letting out at peals of laughter at the yellow nose.
Oenothera speciosa

Another Hidden Critter... Day 91

You could say I was sharing another wildflower of Texas, but my focus came the critter when I was zooming in for a closer shot.  The flower is a False Dandelion or Hypochaeris radicata.  You'll recognize the critter.  ; )

Now this busy lady never stopped to pose for me.

Yum the Blue Bell Fun Run... Day 86

I went to the 5K Fun Run with my daughters and friend for them to participate and me to take pictures.  They took the boys on the 5K Run with them.. The grandson in green jogged the last half  and raced with his aunt to the finish line.  It was fun and Blue Bell Ice Cream was for free for all.  Yum.

My Abundant Blooming Pink Rose... Day 81

I bought this rose years ago in Blanco, Texas at a small nursery.  I loved the pink buds.  It had no name.  This bush blooms from March until almost frost and is fragrant.  My kind of rose. ; )

Nature Camouflaged Can You Identify Him?...Day 80

Did you find him?  I almost missed him when I was turning on the water to the garden.  He knew he was so well camouflaged that he only moved when my hand came too close.

I think he is a Mexican Treefrog, although he is a bit like the description of a cricket frog.  If someone can help me identify him I will fix the title.  Thanks.
Isn't he cute.

Savanah's Red Tip Photinia ...Day 79

When my granddaughter Savanah was born, this bush was planted. It has out grown her. She doesn't live here anymore, but her bush/tree is flourishing.  Beautiful just like she is.
